Welcome. The Metropolitan Washington Public Health Association (MWPHA) has made the fight against the HIV epidemic its primary advocacy work because this health issue reveals the worst inequalities and racism that exist around the world. We need to include but go way beyond condoms, sex education, and testing as responses to HIV. MWPHA demands that all DC residents have access to truly affordable housing and meaningful jobs to create the stability that creates health. We need to unite workers across the city to fight for social improvements that enrich all of us regular people instead of the developers and businesses.

As part of our campaign to fight for healthy conditions, we are hosting a Speak Out with DC Fights Back on Saturday, November 3rd preceded by a march around the neighborhood. Meet us at the Washington Highlands Library at 115 Atlantic St. SW at noon.
